EXCERPT: I called the filmmakers because I wanted to know more about what it was like to tell a story about a traumatic event that is still very much part of the community fabric. They had a lot to say about that question, but throughout the entire process, their intention was to honor the people they love and hold so much respect for. And their effort shows. The film, “Buried,” is a work of devotion.
